Last Monday-Wednesday, July 27-29, we had our inaugural NWIM Synod Candidacy Retreat at Camp Lutherhaven. This was for all of our current candidates preparing to become pastors or deacons and our entire Synod Candidacy Committee. We stayed in Lutherhaven’s beautiful North Garden Lodge and several sessions were led by ELCA Deacon (and coach and retreat leader and beautiful person) Tammy Devine. We also squeezed in a Positive Approval (final) Interview for candidate Lori Tharp.
